Chewing Gum
I cannot eat chewing gum because of my denture.Don't you know that eating chewing gum is good for the health too? Most of gum chewers spent less time in the hospital. Chewing gum do not relieve dry mouth only or aid digestion only. This is also good especially those who have colons.Patients who totally or partially remove colons to recover intestinal function is advise to chew sugarless chewing gum for 5 to 45 minutes three times a day after surgery. It was found to pass gas 0.66 day earlier than those who did not chew.Gum chewing also stimulate nerves in our digestive system.
